Dressing for Fourth of July is one of my favorite parts of the holiday (right after campfires and fireworks). I like to pick outfits that feel Americana without making you look like you got clothed yourself in Betsy Ross's Patriotic flag. I tend to think boho-style, vintage denim, fringe, flare jeans, and brown suede. Rather than going for red, white and blue, I choose one of the colors to focus on and adding festive touches with accessories. It's fun to dress up, but you don't want it to look like you tried too hard.
Our lovely model, Kendyl, rocked this collection of tees with her adorable relaxed style. We put together five looks to inspire you this season for all of your Fourth of July parties and backyard hangouts!
OUTFIT ONE :
You’ll look super cool in this Steel Blue Take Heart tee. Style it with a light wash denim skirt and a sueded fringe vest for a semi-western feel. Some wrap up, block heel sandals finish off this fun summer look!
OUTFIT TWO :
A twist on the typical red summer sundress, this outfit is sure to make waves this summer! Pair this bright red Freedom Embroidered Tee with a pair of high waisted flouncy, floral red shorts. Complete the look by rolling the sleeves and slipping on your go-to summer sandals.
OUTFIT THREE :
Make a bold statement in this Navy Jesus Loves You T-Shirt. Pair it with a pair of white denim shorts for a crisp and clean look. Tie a red flannel around your waist to account for cooler weather in the evening, and grab your Birkenstocks before you head out for the day!
OUTFIT FOUR :
Ice Blue has quickly become one of our favorite colors for summer! Keep it cool with this Be Thou My Vision Tee and a pair of acid wash distressed denim shorts. Tie a black bandana around your neck to add a chic touch to this simple look. White converse complete the ensemble and help you stay comfy even if you’re on your feet all day.
OUTFIT FIVE :
Your old bell bottom jeans are calling! Give them the answer they’re looking for with this throwback outfit. Layer our Fearfully + Wonderfully Made White Marble Tank over a white fringe-bottom tank for a bit of movement. Pull on your flared denim and a pair of simple sandals to pull off this 70s inspired look.
