“You don’t have enough faith,” Jesus told them. “I tell you the truth, if you had faith even as small as a mustard seed, you could say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it would move. Nothing would be impossible.” - Matthew 17:20
Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. - Hebrews 11:1
Because of our human nature, having faith just isn't our instinctual reaction. We doubt. We have trouble trusting in what isn’t easy to see. But as Christians, we have faith in Christ. We must have faith that He died on the cross to free us from the captivity of sin. And even when we can’t see or feel Him with us, we must have faith that He is with us and will not leave us alone. We must have faith that what Scripture says about Him is true. And if we do, we know that He tells us that with even a little bit of faith, we can do incredible and astounding things!
