Avo-Toast : 3 Ways!

Avocados are amazing any time of the day - with your eggs for breakfast, on your sandwich mid-day, and in your guacamole with tacos for dinner. When I'm craving a light, fresh-tasting lunch I love reaching for a ripe avocado, some sourdough toast and a few toppings for flavor. The avocado slices are so satisfying on crusty bread, and the extras compliment the basic avo-toast staples. 

Simply start with a slice (or two!) of your favorite bread - sourdough is a classic! Toast the bread. Cut your avocado in half and slice each half lengthwise. Top your toast with the sliced avocado. Some topping ideas to upgrade your toast are a squeeze of citrus, smoked fish, seasonal produce, balsamic vinegar, and garden herbs. Keep reading for 3 ways to eat your toast this summer!
